More of the one game point wins; winning both halves is a scoop.
Omaha Hi-Lo
High and low share the game pot; a scoop takes both.
How to play
- 01
Deal four private cards and five community cards. Every high or low hand must use exactly two private and three board cards.
- 02
Find the best standard high hand. Separately find the best low: five different ranks, all 8 or below; aces are low and straights or flushes do not hurt a low.
- 03
Assign half a game point to the high winner and half to the low winner. Divide a tied half equally. If no low qualifies, the entire game point goes to high.
- 04
If a challenger earns more of that game point, they win the club round. The game pot is only a scoring device.
Equal totals push; replay.
Standard five-card high-poker rankings
Royal flush → straight flush → four of a kind → full house → flush → straight → three of a kind → two pair → one pair → high card.
Compare the rank of the made combination first, then kickers from highest downward. Suits are equal. Aces can be high or low in a straight, but cannot wrap around. Short Deck, lowball, Three Card Poker, Four Card Poker and Poker Dice use their own rankings.
Cards down. Phones up.
The winner proposes the agreed collaboration share on the loser’s first qualifying prospect. Both call counters start at zero. The loser can cancel the proposed split by completing the agreed redemption challenge before its cutoff. The actual work and contribution still determine earned credit.
